લીલી પરિક્રમા / ગિરનાર પરિક્રમા: આમ તો આ શબ્દ લોકબોલીમાં ખૂબ લાડથી અને પુરા ભક્તિભાવથી ” પરકમ્મા ” તરીકે બોલવામાં અને ક્યારેક તો લખવામાં પણ આવે છે. આ પરકમ્મા એટલે પરિક્રમા અને એટલે પ્રદક્ષિણા! અને આ શબ્દો જ્યારે યાદ આવે ત્યારે બે ઘટનાઓ જે બચપણથી જ મગજમાં ઘુસી ગઈ છે, તે જ યાદ આવે!

• એક તો પૃથ્વી પોતાની ધરી પર પરિભ્રમણ કરે છે તે.
• બીજી વાત ભગવાન ગણેશજી સાથેની છે તે મુજબ; એક વાર કાર્તિકેય અને ગણેશજી વચ્ચે કોઈ બાબતે રકઝક ચાલતી હતી. બંને ગયા માતા પિતા પાસે. પિતા શિવ ભગવાને ઉકેલ લાવવા માટે કહ્યું કે જે સમસ્ત પૃથ્વીની પ્રદક્ષિણા કરીને જે વહેલા ઘરે આવશે તે જીતશે! કાર્તિકેયજી તો પોતાના વાહન મોર પર બેસીને નીકળ્યા પ્રદક્ષિણા કરવા. ગણેશજીએ ચતુરાઈ વાપરી અને પોતાના માતા પિતા એટલે કે ભગવાન શિવજી અને પાર્વતીજીને એક ઊંચા આસને બેસાડી સાત વખત તેઓની પ્રદક્ષિણા કરી અને કહ્યું કે ” માતા પિતા જ બ્રહ્માંડમાં સૌથી મોટું અને વંદનીય સ્થાન ધરાવે છે તેથી પૃથ્વીની પ્રદક્ષિણા કરવા જેટલું જ મહત્વ આ પ્રદક્ષિણાનું છે ” કાર્તિકેયજી પરત આવ્યા ત્યારે ગણેશજી તો હાજર જ હતા! તેઓએ પૃથ્વીની પ્રદક્ષિણા એક વાર નહીં પણ સાત વાર કરી હતી! પ્રદક્ષિણાનો આ સંદર્ભ કાયમ મનમાં દ્રઢ થઈ ચૂક્યો છે.

પરિક્રમા કે પ્રદક્ષિણા કે પરકમ્માનો સાહિત્યિક સંદર્ભે અર્થ

ભગવદ્ગોમંડલ પ્રમાણે પરિક્રમા સંસ્કૃત શબ્દ છે. (૧) કોઈ મંદિર કે તીર્થસ્થાનની ચોતરફ ફરવું તે; પ્રદક્ષિણા; (૨) ચક્કર મારવું તે; આમ-તેમ ફરવું તે. (૩) તીર્થ કે મંદિરની ચોતરફ ફરવા માટે કરવામાં આવેલો માર્ગ: બીજો શબ્દ પણ સંસ્કૃત છે પરિક્રામી – પરિક્રામિન – ચોતરફ ફરતું, પ્રદક્ષિણા કરનારું. ત્રીજો શબ્દ છે; પરિક્રાંતિ – ચોતરફ ફરવું તે; પ્રદક્ષિણા. ચોથો શબ્દ છે; પરિગમ – આસપાસ ફરવું તે; પ્રદક્ષિણા. પાંચમો શબ્દ છે પરિગમન પણ છે.

સાર્થ ગુજરાતી જોડણી કોશ પ્રમાણે;

(૧) પરિકમ્મા – સંસ્કૃત શબ્દ પરિક્રમા છે. પરકમ્મા, પરિક્રમણ, પ્રદક્ષિણા (૨) પરિ શબ્દ એક ઉપસર્ગ છે. ‘ ચારે તરફનું ‘ પરિપૂર્ણ એવો અર્થ બતાવે; જેમ કે; પરિક્રમ, પરિગણના. (૩) પરિક્રમ – પરિક્રમણ , અનુક્રમ. (૪) પરિક્રમણ – પ્રદક્ષિણા, આમ તેમ ફરવું તે, (૫) પરિક્રમા – પરિક્રમ , ચક્રગતિ; (૬) પ્રદક્ષિણા – કોઈપણ વસ્તુ કે વ્યક્તિને / દેવ-દેવીની મૂર્તિને જમણી બાજુ રાખીને તેથી આસપાસ ફરવું તે; પ્રદક્ષિણા કરવી / ફરવી તે ; જેવા વિવિધ અર્થો છે.

પરિક્રમા એ ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિમાં ધર્મ સાથે જોડાયેલી પ્રવૃત્તિ છે. મંદિરોમાં પણ ફરતે એવી ખાસ જગ્યા રાખવામાં આવે છે કે જ્યાં દર્શનાર્થીઓ પ્રદક્ષિણા કરી શકે છે. આ પ્રવૃતિ હિન્દૂ ધર્મ ઉપરાંત બોદ્ધ અને જૈન ધર્મમાં પણ જોવા મળે છે. મંદિરોમાં પ્રદક્ષિણા અંગે પણ કેટલાક ખાસ રિવાજ કે નિયમો કે માન્યતાઓ પણ છે, જેમ કે ડાબેથી જમણી તરફ જ પરિક્રમા થાય છે. ગણેશજીના મંદિરે ત્રણ જ કરવામાં આવે તો શિવમંદિરે અડધી જ કરવામાં આવે છે! જ્યાંથી અભિષેકનું દૂધ કે જળ બહાર નીકળતા હોય તે સ્થાનને ઓળંગવામાં આવતું નથી. આવા મંદિરો સિવાય નદીઓમાં નર્મદાની પ્રદક્ષિણા તો પર્વતોમાં ગિરનાર, શેત્રુંજય અને વ્રજ વિસ્તારમાં ગોવર્ધનની પ્રદક્ષિણાનું તો અયોધ્યા ખાતે સરયું નદી અને ચિત્રકૂટમાં કામદગીરી અને દક્ષિણ ભારતના તિરુવંમલઈ , ઉજ્જૈનમાં ચોર્યાસી મહાદેવ પરિક્રમાનું ધાર્મિક મહત્વ રહેલું છે. મારા વતન ધ્રાંગધ્રામાં હું નાનો હતો ત્યારે જોયું છે કે શ્રાવણ માસમાં એક ધૂન મંડળ પણ વહેલી સવારે ” હરિ હરિ બોલ , બોલ હરિ બોલ મુકુંદ માધવ કેશવ બોલ ” ની ધૂન સાથે આખા નગરની પ્રદક્ષિણાએ નીકળતી હતી.
ગુજરાતમાં આવેલ ગિરનાર પર્વત પર ચોર્યાસી નાથોના બેસણા છે તેમ માનવામાં આવે છે. ૩૩૮૩ ફૂટની ઊંચાઈ ધરાવતા આ પર્વતનું ઊંચું શિખર ગોરખનાથનું ૩૬૦૦ ફૂટની ઊંચાઈએ હોવાનું કહેવાય છે. આ પર્વતની આસપાસમાં અનેક બીજા નાના મોટા પર્વત અઢાર જેટલા પર્વતોની શૃંખલા છે. બારેમાસ આ સ્થળે પ્રવાસીઓની આવનજાવન રહેતી હોય છે. સૌથી વધુ તો શિવરાત્રીના મેળામાં અને દિવાળી પછી કહેવાતી લીલી પરિક્રમામાં માણસો ઉમટે છે. પર્વતની આજુબાજુમાં ગાઢ જંગલો છે. અનેક અલભ્ય ઔષધ વૃક્ષ ત્યાં ઉપલબ્ધ છે. વન્યજીવ સૃષ્ટિમાં સિંહોનું ગીર અભ્યારણ પણ ત્યાં જ છે.

લીલી પરિક્રમા / ગિરનાર પરિક્રમા વિશે માહિતી

ગિરનાર પર્વતની ફરતે છત્રીસ કિલોમીટર લાંબી લીલી પરિક્રમા યોજાય છે. અહીં ” લીલી ” શબ્દનું ઉમેરણ ખાસ પ્રકૃતિ સંદર્ભ ધરાવે છે. લીલી એટલે હરિયાળી! પ્રતિવર્ષ ચોમાસાની ઋતુ બાદ અહીં પ્રકૃતિ સોળે કલાએ ખીલી ઉઠે છે. પર્વતની ચોપાસ લીલી વનરાજી છવાઈ જાય છે. અનેક સ્થળે પર્વત પરથી આવતા ઝરણાઓ મનમોહક બને છે. ઝાડી-જંગલો લીલી છમ બની જાય છે. કેડીઓ, ધૂળિયા રસ્તાઓ, ઢોળાવો, નદીઓ, નાના નાના પુલો, મંદિરો, ઘટાદાર વૃક્ષો, વેલાઓ, નાની મોટી વન્ય જીવ સૃષ્ટિ, પંખીઓનો કલરવ વિ. થી સમગ્ર પર્યાવરણ પ્રકૃતિમય બની જાય છે. કારતક સુદ અગિયારસથી પૂનમ એટલે કે દેવદિવાળી સુધી આ પરિક્રમા ચાલે છે. જીવનની અનેક સુખ – સુવિધાઓ ત્યાગીને માત્ર કુદરતના ખોળે વિહરવા માનવીઓ સમસ્ત ભારત અને ગુજરાતભરમાંથી ઉમટી પડે છે. આ લીલી પરિક્રમા ક્યારે શરૂ થઈ હશે તેના વિશે કોઈ આધારભૂત પુરાવાઓ મળતા નથી, પરંતુ ૧૯૨૨ માં બગડુના અજાભગતે શરૂ કરી હોવાનું મનાય છે. તો ભગવાન શ્રી કૃષ્ણ પરિવારનો પણ સંદર્ભ આપવામાં આવી રહ્યો છે. ભારતભરમાંથી અનેક સાધુ સંતો આ પરિક્રમા કરવા આવે છે અને પરિક્રમા માર્ગ પર ધૂણો ધખાવી બેસે છે. ધાર્મિક અને સામાજિક સંસ્થાઓ પણ આ પરિક્રમામાં આવતા ભાવિકો માટે ઉતારા અને ભોજનની વ્યવસ્થા કરે છે. વન વિભાગ, પોલીસ વિભાગ, જિલ્લા વહીવટી તંત્ર, મહા નગર પાલિકા, સાધુ સમાજ અને સામાજિક સંસ્થાઓ મળીને આ પરિક્રમાને નિર્વિઘ્ને પૂર્ણ કરાવવા તનતોડ શ્રમ કરે છે.

(૭) જો આપ ખુદ શારીરિક રીતે સક્ષમ હોય તો જરૂર જણાય ત્યાં વૃદ્ધ કે અસકતો કે બાળકોની સહાય કરો.

(૮) શક્ય હોય તેટલા પ્રમાણે નિર્ધારિત માર્ગે જ પરિક્રમા કરો. જંગલના ઊંડાણમાં જવાનું ટાળો. પ્રતિબંધિત વિસ્તારોમાં ન જ પ્રવેશો.

(૯) રસ્તામાં ફાસ્ટફૂડ વિ. ના પડીકાઓ ન ખરીદો કે ન સાથે રાખો. તેનો કચરો જ્યાં ત્યાં ફેંકવાનું મન થશે જ! કોઈએ ફેંક્યા હોય તો ટોકવાને બદલે ઉઠાવીને રાખેલી કચરા ટોપલીમાં ફેંકો અને પર્યાવરણ જાળવણીમાં મદદરૂપ બનો.

(૧૦) યોગ્ય જગ્યાએ, યોગ્ય પદ્ધતિથી મળ-મૂત્ર ત્યાગ કરો. શક્ય હોય ત્યાં મુકવામાં આવેલા હરતાફરતા સૌચાલયોનો ઉપયોગ કરો. ખાડો ગાળી તેમાં શોચક્રિયા કરી તેના પર માટી/ધૂળ નાખી દો જેનાથી દુર્ગંધ ન ફેલાય.

(૧૧) રાત્રિ સમયે પરિક્રમા કરવાનું ટાળો. વહેલા પુરી કરવાની લ્હાયમાં આવું ન કરશો. સમૂહની સાથે જ રહો. એક બીજાનો સતત સંપર્ક કરતા રહો. ક્યાંક મોબાઈલની કનેન્ક્ટિવિટી ન હોય ત્યારે ધીરજ રાખી સંપર્ક કરો. શક્ય હોય તો પાવર બેંક સાથે જ રાખો કારણ કે ત્યાં કદાચ બેટરી ચાર્જિંગ સેવા ન પણ મળે. જો ખરેખર દુનિયાથી અલિપ્ત થવા માંગતા હોય તો આવા સાધનોનો ઉપયોગ ટાળવો જોઈએ!

૧૨) અજાણ્યા કે માનવ રહિત કે પ્રતિબંધિત વિસ્તાર/ગુફા વિ. માં ન જવું જોઈએ. નિર્જન/અવાવરું રસ્તાઓ/દિશાઓ તરફ ન જ ફરકો તો સારું!

(૧૩) આ પરિક્રમાના માર્ગે વન્ય પ્રાણીઓની પણ અવરજવર રહેતી હોય છે ત્યારે જો આવા પ્રાણીઓ દેખાય તો વનવિભાગને જાણ કરો. હો હા ન કરો. પથ્થર કે કોઈ ચીજો ફેંકી હેરાન કરી ઉશ્કેરશો નહીં. શાંતિથી નિહાળો. તેને યોગ્ય રસ્તો આપો. વનવિભાગ કે પોલીસની સૂચનાઓનું પાલન કરો. કોઈપણ રીતે કરેલું સાહસ જાનલેવા પણ બની શકે છે.

(૧૪) પરિક્રમા માર્ગે જોવા મળતા સાધુ-સંતો કે બાવા-બાબાના દર્શન કરો. આગળ વધો. અંધવિશ્વાસ કે અંધશ્રદ્ધાનો ત્યાગ કરી વ્યાજબી માનવસહજ વર્તન કરો. બધા જ નકલી પણ નથી હોતા.

(૧૫) અફવાઓનું સર્જન ન કરો. ફેલાવો ન કરો. સત્ય ચકાસો. ખંડન કરો. ભાગદોડ ન મચાવશો. મદદરૂપ બનો. એક સાથે ટોળામાં એકઠા ન થશો. ક્યાંક જમીન કે પુલ નબળા હોય તો ધસી પડી શકે છે.

(૧૬) સમુહમાંથી કે પરિવારમાંથી કોઈ વિખુટા ન પડે તે બાબતે કાળજી રાખો. જો આવું બને તો પોલીસ કે હોમગાર્ડ કે તંત્રનો સંપર્ક કરો. આપણી ભાગદોડ ક્યાંક ખોટી અફવાનું સર્જન કરી શકે છે.

(૧૭) ઢોળાવ, ખીણ, નદી / ઝરણા કિનારે , ગુફાઓ, ટેકરીઓ કે અજાણ્યા રસ્તે ” સેલ્ફી ” પાડવાનું ટાળો. તે ખતરનાક બની શકે છે. લપસી જવાથી, પડવાથી , ભાગદોડથી વ્યક્તિગત તો ખરી જ પણ સામુહિક નુકસાની પણ થઈ શકે છે.

(૧૮) સમગ્ર પરિક્રમા માર્ગે પીવાના પાણીની પૂરતી સગવડ સાથે રાખો. પ્લાસ્ટિક બોટલ હોય તો તેને ભરતા રહો. ખાલી થાય ત્યારે જ્યાં ત્યાં ફેંકશો નહીં પણ જંગલ બહાર નીકળી યોગ્ય જગ્યાએ નિકાલ કરો.

(૧૯) આ પરિક્રમામાં ભારતભરમાંથી યાત્રિકો આવતા હોવાથી કોઈ અન્યભાષી યાત્રિકો હોય તો યોગ્ય માર્ગદર્શન આપો. ગેરમાર્ગે ન દોરશો. અનેક વિદેશીઓ પણ આ પરિક્રમાના અભ્યાસ હેતુથી આવતા હોય છે ત્યારે તેઓની સાથે જરૂર મુલાકાત કરો, તસ્વીરો ખેંચો પણ હેરાન-પરેશાન ન કરશો. તેઓ રાજ્યની કે દેશની ખરાબ છાપ લઈને પરત ફરશે અને તે આપણને શોભાસ્પદ ન જ હોય શકે!

(૨૦) અજાણી / શંકાસ્પદ વ્યક્તિઓ પાસેથી ભભૂત/પ્રસાદ વિ. લેવાનું ટાળો. કોઈ શંકાસ્પદ હિલચાલ જણાય તો તંત્રને જાણ કરો. ઉતાવાળીયા કોઈ પગલાં ભરવા જોઈએ નહીં. આવા સમયે જ અફવાઓ સર્જાતી હોય છે.

(૨૧) જેઓને હૃદયની કે શ્વાસની બીમારી હોય તેઓએ આ પરિક્રમામાં જોડાવું ટાળવું જોઈએ અથવા યોગ્ય સાધનો-દવા સાથે રાખવા જોઈએ. થોડી ઊંચાઈ પણ છે અને સપાટ રસ્તાઓની મુશ્કેલીઓ હોય દર વર્ષે આવા દર્દીઓના મૃત્યુના બનાવો બનતા હોય છે.

(૨૨) કોઈ કટોકટીની સ્થિતિમાં જતા આવતા એમ્બ્યુલન્સ જેવા વાહનોને યોગ્ય રસ્તો આપવો જોઈએ જેથી કોઈ બીમાર કે અકસ્માતનો ભોગ બનેલને તાત્કાલિક સારવાર મળી શકે.

(૨૩) ક્યાંક ધૂળ ઊડતી હોય ત્યારે શ્વાસની તકલીફ પડે તો દરેક પાસે યોગ્ય માસ્ક પણ હોવા જરૂરી બને છે.

(૨૪) જ્યાં ભોજન, આરામ કે બેઠકની વ્યવસ્થા હોય ત્યાં અવ્યવસ્થા ન સર્જાય તેનું ધ્યાન રાખીએ. ભોજનનો બગાડ ન કરીએ. જરૂર પૂરતું જ લઈએ. જમાડનાર સંસ્થા કે મંડળો ના જ નથી કહેવાના પણ બગાડ ન કરવો એ આપણો વિવેક છે.

(૨૫) પોલીસ, હોમગાર્ડ, વનકર્મીઓ, તંત્રના કર્મચારીઓ, આરોગ્યકર્મીઓ, પરિવહન કર્મચારીઓ, સાધુ સમાજ, સેવાભાવી સંસ્થાઓ, સ્વયંસેવકો વિ. દ્વારા આપવામાં આવતી સૂચનાઓનું યોગ્ય પાલન કરી વ્યવસ્થા જાળવવામાં શક્યતઃ મદદરૂપ બનશો

આવો, આપણે સૌ લીલી પરિક્રમાના ભક્તિ , પ્રકૃતિ અને પુણ્ય સ્વરૂપનું ભાથું મેળવીએ, ગૌરવ જાળવીએ, સલામત રહીએ, ક્ષેત્રને સલામત રાખીએ, સંસ્કૃતિનું મર્યાદામય જતન કરીએ, આયોજકોને યોગ્ય સહકાર આપીએ, કાયમી શ્રેષ્ઠ યાદગારીઓ સાથે રાખીને પરિક્રમા પૂર્ણ કરીએ અને ફરીવાર પણ આવવાનું મન થાય તેવું કૈક કરીએ. આપણો ઈરાદો ધાર્મિક ન હોય તો ચાલી શકે પણ આ પરિક્રમા એ કોઈ મોજમજાનું સ્થળ નથી પણ પ્રકૃતિદર્શનનો એક અનેરો લ્હાવો પણ છે તેથી યોગ્ય રીતે આ પરિક્રમા પૂર્ણ કરવી જોઈએ.

The Statue of Unity is a tribute to Indian Independence movement leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. With a height of 182 metres (597 ft), the monument is world's tallest statue. It is scheduled to be inaugurated during a gala function on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary on October 31, 2018. The statue is located facing the Narmada Dam, 3.2 km away on the river island called Sadhu Bet near Rajpipla in Gujarat. 

The monument along with its surroundings occupies over 20,000 square metres, and is surrounded by a 12 square km artificial lake. The foundation stone for the project was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31, 2013. 9. Around 135 metric tonnes of iron were contributed by common people all over India for use in the project. An engineering marvel, the construction of Statue of Unity was completed in a record time of 33 months. It was built by Larsen & Toubro Ltd at a cost of Rs 2,989 crore. The Statue of Unity is made up of 1,700 tonnes of bronze and 1,850 tonnes of bronze cladding on the exterior while the interior of the statue is filled with concrete cement (180,000 cubic metres), reinforced steel (18,500 tonnes) and structured steel (6,500 tonnes).

DRM:

DRM is a system developed primarily as a direct substitute for AM international broadcasting in the short wave band. DRM uses the similar channel plan as the analog services and with some limitations and changes to the analog service. A DRM broadcast can share the same channel with an analog station. Existing channel allocation DRM is a single audio channel system when used with.
