How FASTag recharge works?
You can recharge your FASTag anytime and anywhere through Paytm. FASTag, that works on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and with the help of it, the toll tax is deducted from your FASTag account when you pass through a FASTag toll lane. Whenever you make a FASTag recharge, the amount gets added in your FAStag account and can be deducted while you pass through the FASTag toll lines.
Can FASTag be recharged at toll plaza?
No, you should recharge your FASTag beforehand so that you don’t find any trouble on the toll booths. You will have to pay the double amount if you make offline toll payments.
Since when will FASTag has become mandatory?
Having FASTag on your vehicle has become mandatory since January 15, 2020. You will need to pay double if you fail to have a FASTag on your vehicle as a penalty.
Can FASTag balance be transferred?
No, you can’t transfer the FASTag balance to one account from another account. Once you recharge your FASTag with some money, you can only spend it by paying the toll tax on the FASTag toll lanes.
