Officers will now be given grades based on the work done by the general public. States have also been agreed to amend the Indian government. This new system will also apply to the officers of Gujarat government.
Sources in the General Administration Department said that the government has decided to evaluate whether people are satisfied with the work done by an officer or employee in the government office. If people will praise the work, then the officer or employee will be given benefits from promotions to wages.
Negative affairs of the government’s administrative system will be the biggest impact, a Gujarat official said. DOPT has prepared a format by accepting the suggestion of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It will be implemented from the financial year 2019-20.
There is a Public Feedback System in the Central Offices. The government can also provide public feedback on the websites of Gujarat but this system has not been live. The normal person does not get any feedback. Now this will give the officer or staff the grade by welcoming the suggestions and opinions of the general public by making this feedback more foolproof.
For the officers of the government, there is a provision of this in the seventh pay panchayat but it has not been implemented yet but the central government has accepted it and also ordered to implement it in the states too.
