CTET 2018 Notification is expected to be released on 22nd June on the official website that is ctet.nic.in. The Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination on 16th September 2018. Therefore, all the candidates who are eligible to apply and want to appear in this examination are suggested to fill CTET Application Form 2018 for the examination, after the release of an online form till last date 17th July 2018. All the examination details and CTET online form will be released soon on the official website.
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a test which is conducted by CBSE every year whereby candidates get an eligibility certificate for the appointment of a primary teacher for class I-V and Upper primary teacher for class VI-VIII. CTET 2018 Exam will be conducted to fill all the vacant positions in all central schools like KVs/NVs etc. This exam makes the candidates eligible to appear in different teaching exams like TGT, PGT etc. This is just an eligibility test which is required to be passed by the candidates as a qualification criterion. CTET 2018 Exam Details: CTET is an eligibility test which is needed to be qualified to apply or appear for different exams TGT, PGT, TET, BTC, NTT. There are no fixed vacancies allotted by CTET as the number of vacancies are divided into subzone according to the different exams conducted by the government. CTET 2018 Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants who aspire to crack CTET 2018 Eligibility Criteria should satisfy at least one condition from this list of eligibility criteria. Eligibility criteria for class 1st to 5th are different and eligibility criteria for an upper primary class teacher for 5th to 8th are different. Let us have a look at the eligibility criteria described below.
Educational Qualifications for CTET 2018 Exam
For Class I-V (Primary Stage) For class VI- VIII (Elementary Stage)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
Age Limit: The minimum age required to apply for CTET 2018 Exam is 18 years and there is no upper age limit i.e. candidates who are 18 and more can apply for this test. The only primary condition is to fulfill the desired educational qualifications required for this exam.
CBSE CTET Online Form 2018 :
The CTET 2018 Application form has not been released yet. Now, CBSE has decided to release the CTET Notification after UGC NET application procedure. Candidates, who want to fill CTET 2018 online form in prescribed format on the official website of CTET that is ctet.nic.in, will be able to apply soon. Candidates may submit the CTET Online Application form 2018 before the last date. CTET Notification 2018 will be released soon.
How to Apply for CTET 2018 Exam?
First of all, visit the official website of ctet i.e. www.ctet.nic.in
Click on apply online
Register for CTET, then save this registration number for further process
Instructions will be displayed on the screen go through them carefully, CTET 2018 Application Form will appear on the screen.
Fill the Online Application with all the particulars
Click on next, Upload scanned copies of photographs and signature
Now deposit the application fees through Online payment mode like net banking, challan, Debit-card, debit card. Application fees for different categories is stated above.
Click on the submit button
Take out the hard copy of the application form for future reference
CTET 2018 Application Fee :
The applicant has to pay the following application fees for this test. The Unreserved category i.e. Gen/OBC has to pay Rs.1000 for ( Both I and II paper) and Rs.600 if they want to give (either I or II Paper). The reserved category i.e. SC/ST/PH has to pay Rs. 500 (Both I and II Paper) and Rs. 300 if they want to give (either I or II Paper).

CTET 2018 Exam Pattern :
CTET 2018 exam paper will be a multiple choice question paper. The duration exam will be two and a half hours and each question will comprise of 1 mark each and there will be no negative marking against the wrong answer. Two papers will be conducted first in the morning session for class I-V and then in the evening session for class VI-VIII. The questions will be based on topics like Child development and pedagogy Mathematics and Environmental studies, Social studies and social sciences.
