With the recent announcement from the CSPHCL, there is requirement of Assistant Engineer (Trainee), and Junior Engineer (Trainee) profiles, in Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL), Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited (CSPTCL), and Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL).

Pay Scale & Remunerations:
Assistant Engineer (Trainee): Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,44,300/-
Junior Engineer (Trainee): Rs.35,400 – Rs.1,12,400/-
Training Period: The candidates selected for the post will be appointed as Assistant Engineer (Trainee), and Junior Engineer (Trainee) and will have to undergo a minimum 12 months of training. During this period they will receive only the base package as consolidated remuneration for Training per month. After successful completion, they will be inducted in their respective profiles with full pay scale.
Age Criteria:
Assistant Engineer (Trainee): 21-30 years as on 01-January-2018
Junior Engineer (Trainee): 19-35 years as on 01-January-2018
However, the upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD and Women candidates as per rules.
Academic Requirements (as on closing date of receipt of Application):
Assistant Engineer (Trainee): Candidates must possess B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engineering)/ AMIE in concerned disciplines of Engineering branch.
Junior Engineer (Trainee): Candidates must possess 3 years full time Diploma in concerned disciplines of Engineering branch.

Assistant Engineer (Trainee)
For SC/ ST candidates: Rs.1200/-
For Gen/OBC: Rs. 1500/-
Junior Engineer (Trainee):
For SC/ ST candidates: Rs.700/-
For Gen/OBC: Rs.1000/-
Departmental candidates are exempted from paying any fee.
Selection Procedure:
The selection process will be conducted on merit basis and will be done through a Online Computer Based Test followed by an Interview for Assistant Engineer (Trainee); and Online Computer Based Test for Junior Engineer (Trainee). The Question Papers will be in Hindi/ English. There will be negative marking (0.25 marks) for each wrong answer.
