India’s Unique Identification Authority (UIDAI) has instructed all telecom companies to provide these facilities so that their customers can guarantee that their mobile SIM support has been linked to the number. With this step, the support authority wants to ensure unauthorized use of the people.
UIDAI has taken this decision after receiving information about the misuse of the verification facility provided by vendors, operators and agents.
According to the data, except for base holders, its support is used for the new SIM of others and for testing again.
Alerting telecommunications operators, UIDAI has asked to ensure that their vendors and agents are not involved in any fraudulent activity. Authorization has requested to provide a new service to the customer until March 15.
