NCERT published textbooks will carry QR codes from next year, which will provide web links to films or related reading content to help students understand subjects better, Union minister Prakash Javadekar said today.
Quick Response (QR) Code is a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, which are essentially web links that can be read by smartphone cameras
In a bid to provide relief to school students, the NCERT syllabus will be reduced by half from the 2019 academic session, HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar has said. He said the school syllabus was more than that of BA and BCom courses, and it needed to be reduced by half so that students get time for other activities for their all-round development.
Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Prakash Javedekar on Thursday said that the NCERT published textbooks will carry QR codes from 2019. He said that the this would help the students to understand the chapters better by watching a movie or reading additional content on their laptops
