The home ministry has given suggestions above to the proposed standard for private agencies transferring notes.
Under this, work to deposit money in ATMs in rural areas will be done till 6 pm, while in Naxal affected districts it will be done till 4 pm. In this way, the van carrying more than Rs 5 crores will be specially prepared and will have facilities like CCTV and GPS.
According to the ministry officials, in every vane, two armed guard and one driver are told to take the vehicle to safe places in any situation. According to an estimate, 8,000 private vehicles transit from 15,000 crores cash banks to ATMs per day. Private security agencies keep banks close to 5000 crores of cash till night.
Officials said that the process has been forwarded to the Law Ministry to allow it. After approval, the guidelines will be issued to the governments of each state.
