Notes to be closed from Jan 1 to Rs 2,000? Arun Jaitley clarifies
For the past several centuries, some media reports have been claimed from social media that "the notes of 2000 will be closed." Some similar messages are being forwarded to social media and WhatsApp, which is being said that from 1 January A new note of Rs 1000 will be given as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has now made notes of 2000 rupees out of currency.
Some users on social media are pushing for this type of messages too much, as long as some media reports are still expressing suspicion about this.
In fact, SBI commented in its own research report from Rs 2000 notes. It has been said in the report that RBI not sending 2000 notes to circulation. SBI has shown that the RBI has discontinued printing of Rs 2,000 notes and kept these printed notes with itself. After this report, there has been a rumor of the 2000 new note closure in media reports, including social media. Virendra Arun Jaitley has clarified this about the rumor.
Arun Jaitley said, "There has been no disclosure of any information from the government or the RBI about the closure of the Rs 2000 notes. There is a rumor spread among the people, I am requesting a rumor wrong and not believing on it. Unless such official announcements are made from the government, do not believe in such a rumor. "
