AADHAR LINKING IS COMPULSORY TO GET KEROSENE SUBSIDY
The Aadhaar Card has now become inevitable for the government subsidy on procurement of kerosene and for the benefit of the Atal Pension Scheme. Officials have said that those who are subsidizing kerosene or contributing to the pension, they will now have to provide a base number for the benefit. If they do not have Aadhar Card, they will have to complete the registration process.
There is a deadline date of September 30 for registration to obtain or obtain support for Kerosene subsidy. According to a government order, the deadline for getting support for the Atal Pension Scheme is June 15.
However, the identity cards for Ration Card, Driving License, Voter Identity Card, Kisan Passbook with Photo, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme: Certificate issued by MGNREGA and certificate issued by Govt.
Also, it has been decided to add the support number or the ration card issued to the family by the bank account for the benefit, that cash can be given benefits.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry has introduced a Direct Benefit Reduction Plan. Under this subsidy, those beneficiaries are sent directly to the bank account, which buys kerosene from the ration shop at market prices. By joining these two schemes with support, the subsidy will be misused and it will be ensured that beneficiaries benefit from them.
