On the hearing of the Aadhaar petition, the Supreme Court on Monday clarified that the government and its agencies can not make the Aadhaar card mandatory for the benefit of social welfare schemes.
However Chief Justice J.J. s. The Bench of three judges, headed by Kher, also said that the government and its agencies can not be denied refusal of calling the Aadhaar card in non-welfare schemes, such as opening bank accounts, filing tax returns and verification of mobile numbers.

These plans are necessary in the base
1 - BBA / Iron ore mines / limestone workers need a base to get the benefit of house subsidy.
2- To avail the benefits of the Nutritional Program, the beneficiaries have instructions for registration with the Aadhaar numbers till March 31.
3- The basis for the farmers who want to get benefit of crop insurance scheme is mandatory. Along with the people who get cheaper food grains or those who get government subsidies of any kind, it will be necessary to give them upto 31st March.
4- The base is also mandatory for getting public assistance for Janani Suraksha Yojana and Horticulture.
5- It is mandatory for the beneficiaries of the ICDS training being run by the Ministry of Women and Child Development to give the Aadhaar numbers by June 30.
