In the first round of the upcoming railway recruitment, notification of recruitment program will be announced for 1 lakh 31 thousand 428 posts, followed by notification for recruitment for 99 thousand posts in second round. The notification for recruitment of 1 lakh 31 thousand 428 posts is likely to be issued this month ie in February. If this month's announcement is not announced, then by March will come

There will be no announcement about which positions to be recruited in the first round, but soon the information will be provided by the Railway Board.

BIG BREAKING! Railway Recruitment 2018 For 90000 Group C & Group D Vacancies

Once in a year offer by the Indian Railways. Job Aspirants, an opportunity never before, the Indian Railways has sought applications for around 90,000 posts for lower level staffers including loco pilots and technicians, a statement from the Railway ministry said.

Details including age limit, educational qualification, salary, etc are given below. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to go through before filling in the application.

Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification is class tenth and an Industrial Training Institute certificate (ITI).

Age Limit: The Group C level II posts will be open for candidates in the age group of 18-28 years while Group C Level I (Erstwhile Group D) posts for candidates is open for those in the age group of 18-31 years.

Posts: The posts include technicians like fitter, crane driver, blacksmith, and carpenter at Group C Level II and Group C Level I (Erstwhile Group D) posts like track maintainer, points man, helper, gateman.

“Ministry of Railways has announced one of the world s largest recruitment processes for 89,409 posts in Group C Level I (Erstwhile Group D) & Level II Categories,” the statement said.

The applications have been sought through the railway recruitment board website.

Salary: While the salary of the former along with allowances as per the Seventh Pay Commission (level 2) will be in the scale of Rs 19,900-63,200, for the latter it will be in the scale of Rs 18,000- 56,900, the statement said.

Last Date to Apply: Applications for Group C Level II posts will be accepted till March 5, 2018 and for Group C Level I (Erstwhile Group D) posts will be accepted till March 12, 2018.

The statement also said that free sleeper class railway pass facility shall be available for SC/ST candidates for the computer based aptitude tests, physical efficiency tests, document verification during the recruitment stages.

The computer based test is scheduled tentatively in April May 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for East Central Railway Recruitment :

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed a Matric/10th class examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board and ITI in relevant trade.

Age Limit: Minimum and Maximum age limit is 15 to 24 years as on 30.01.2018

Job Location: Bihar

East Central Railway Selection Process: Selection will be made on Merit & both Matriculation and ITI examination giving equal weight to both.
