In offline mode the official authority will conduct the entrance exam one session which will include two parts as mention below:Part 1: MAT (Mental Ability Test)Part 2: SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test).The question paper of the entrance exam will consist of Objective type questions will be asked.The question paper of the entrance exam will consist of 90 questions of 90 marks in total.One hour thirty minutes will be provided to the applicants to solve the paper.In the entrance exam, there are no negative markings and one mark will be awarded to the applicants for each correct answer.The details of the paper pattern are mention below in the table for the reference of the applicants:

Gujarat NMMS EXAM 2018-2019

Gujarat NMMS 2018-2019: National Cum Merit Scholarship Examination applications forms are now available officially. For complete details read the article till the end. Students who have passed VII class are eligible to apply for Gujarat NMMS Form 2018.

However, apart from VII class pass criteria, there are certain other criteria, which will be considered, complete details on these is given at below section.

Gujarat NMMS Form 2018-19

Gujarat NMMS Application Form 2018 

NMMS centrally sponsored scheme is conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. A written examination is conducted to handover a scholarship. Candidates who perform well in the examination, they are given a certain amount of money per annum.

Eligibility Criteria
Student must possess 55% percentage marks in case of General Category.
However, unreserved category candidate must possess a minimum 55% marks
Parental income of the candidates should not exceed (1.5) Lakh, including all income sources.

For enhanced participation of electors in the electoral process and reducing the electoral malpractices, it is essential to improve the quality of electoral registration process and of the electoral rolls. Booth Level Officer (BLO) is a local Government/Semi-Government official, familiar with the local electors and generally a voter in the same polling area who assists in updating the roll using his local knowledge. In fact, BLO is a representative of Election Commission of India (ECI) at the grass-root level who plays a pivotal role in the process of roll revision and collecting actual field information with regard to the roll corresponding to the polling area assigned to him.
Under Section 13B (2) of Representation of People Act, 1950, BLOs are appointed from amongst the officers of the Govt. /Semi Govt. /Local Bodies. Generally, one BLO is responsible for one part of the electoral roll. From August, 2006 the Commission has decided to introduce the concept of appointing BLOs who would be accountable for ensuring the fidelity of electoral roll.+
The ECI introduced this new system of appointing BLOs creating a clear line of accountability for preparation of an error-free electoral roll, making the BLOs its custodian at the polling booth level. Previously, voter-identification slips used to be distributed by the contesting candidates of various political parties and that gave scope for complaints. The preparation of accurate electoral rolls and direct distribution of voter identification slip by the BLOs also boosted voter confidence in the credibility of the election process.
BLO assists eligible citizens to become voters and obtain voter card. BLO provides those different forms for addition, deletion and correction of Electoral Roll entries, carries out physical verification, and gives his/her report to Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) .The BLO interacts with local people/ political parties’ representatives and identifies dead/shifted/duplicate voters to be removed from the electoral roll after due process of law. NMMS Exam Notification 2017 Declared - National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Exam acronym as NMMS Exam is sponsored by Central Government and is conducted by the local educational authority to award (The amount of scholarship is proposed to be Rs.6000 per annum @Rs.500 per month.) 1,00,000 scholarships (from class IX till class XII for a maximum period of four years) to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is not more than Rs.1,50,000 per annul from all sources.  Each State / UT shall have ×xed quota of scholarship which are decided on the basis of enrollment of students in Class VII and VIII in the State/UT concerned and population of children of concerned age group of class VII and VIII. NMMS departments of all states are uploaded NMMS Exam Hall Ticket 2017 on the official website. Directorate of education of science branch, Delhi is going to be organizing NMMS Exam. National Means Cum Merit Scholarship 2017 Exam is organized every Year to provide Scholarship to the 8th Class Students of Govt. / Aided Schools.

Those applicants who will be shortlisted in NMMS Exam, they will be rewarded with Scholarship which will provided by the Indian Govt. So all the students who had applied for NMMS November Exam 2017, they can access their National Means cum Merit Scholarship Call Letter soon by the official website.

About NMMS 2016- National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme .

NMMS 2015- National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme is a Centrally Sponsored Scholarship scheme which is being offered to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to continue the study at secondary stage to arrest the droput rate after Class 8

 The selected students are awarded Rs. 6000 per annum (Rs.500 per month) to study from Class 9 to Class 12 in Government, Government aided and local body schools. 

Under NMMS Total Scholarships awarded are 100,000 and there is quota of scholarships for different states/UTs. There is reservation as per State Government norms. Every state has its own deadline for NMMS Application Form but for most of the states the deadline for application is August 31, 2016.

The students are selected on the basis of NMMS exam conducted by the State Governments/UT administration. NMMS Exam 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on November 8, 2016  There is no Stage 2 of NMMS Exam and State Government will select the students for award of scholarship. State wise NMMS Scholarship Application Form are given below and stuents can download them. Scholarships are disbursed by the State Bank of India directly into the accounts of students on quarterly basis. The Scholarship is paid for a maximum period of four year
