Mumbai, February 7: For the 48 lakh people of the Central Government who are awaiting good news, a great relief will be given to them as the Government has suggested the salary of the employees from April 1 to 7th Pay Commission's recommendations, The Sen Times Report
According to a report, changes in growth will affect "lower level employees of salary matrix level 1 to 5".
On the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, the Union Cabinet gave its approval for this effect on June 29, 2016.
Prior to January, the Finance Ministry said that they would soon be preparing a draft proposal to increase the wages.
Justice A. K. Under the leadership of Mathur and his team, the 7th Pay Commission had suggested that the scale of the 6th pay panel should be 2.57 times equally fit.
The Central Government employees' union also demanded an increase of minimum wage of Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000 and also increase the factor factor by 2.57 times to 3.68 times.
In 2016, after the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had assured the unions that the government would consider their main demand to increase the salary and fitness formula through a high level committee.
While addressing the Rajya Sabha, FM Jaitley reiterated his commitment to increase the minimum wage for Central Government employees besides the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission.
