The buzz for the minimum pay hike under 7th Pay Commission for Central government employees has been on rounds for some time now. If reports are to be believed, the minimum pay will be hiked to Rs 21,000 from Rs 18,000. But now the question arises – When will this happen?According to media reports, the government wants this to happen by January 2018. The government is now considering to raise the fitment factor to 3 times.However, several media reports suggested that the central government employees unions were demanding a 3.68 fitment formula.
